Josslyn has now been sleeping in a full size bed for about a week and a half. She still lays right down and goes to sleep just like she did in her crib. The other morning I did go up to get her and she was crawling out from under the bed, not sure where she slept that night........ She is growing up so fast. I will post more pics soon!

We have been going to the park quite often on the nice days. Josslyn loves it. Her favorite thing to do is go down the slides. She really likes to go down on her belly!

Josslyn is now walking in full force. She is into everything! It is quite amazing the little things she has started to do in the last two weeks. She can tell you what a cow and elephant says, and I must say it is pretty cute! Her latest word is uh-oh, she says it all the time, usually for no reason. The other morning I walked into her room and that was the first thing she said. I sometimes catch myself looking twice at her just to make sure something isnt wrong.

She still eats everything we put in front of her, we are hoping that it stays this way, but not holding our breath. The other day she ate a whole waffle, I am not talking an Eggo waffle either, this was a resturant sized one. Usually we have to cut her off becuase I am afraid she will get sick.

We loved the warm weather that we had the last two weeks, I am not quite sure where it has gone but hoping it makes it's way back soon! We went for a couple walks and made out to the park. J had a tantrum because she didnt want to come in (the first of many for the warm season, I am sure).

Josslyn, A BIG SISTER?!?!?!

Josslyn is going to be a big sister!! Yes, we are expecting our arrival in October. I think we are way more excited then her! When we ask her to say Baby she waves byebye. I am sure that she is just confusing the two words or maybe she really doesnt want to be a big sister...... We are praying that we have a healthy pregnancy with no high blood pressure issues this time. Stay tuned for ultra sound pics...

Wisconsin Dells

Last week we took three days and went to Wisconsin Dells. We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge is was a very nice place to stay with little kids, except for the loud people up stairs, we were pretty sure they were bowling at 3 am. Josslyn loved the water and she would have stayed in it all day if we would have let her. Thursday when we arrived at the hotel J also decided that it was really time to start walking so we did a lot of chasing her. By saturday morning the kids were ready to come home and thankfully they were all very good riders for the 3 hour trip!

Not only has Josslyn successfully taken 5 steps this week she has also learned how to pick her nose. Great, I know! This morning at her 15 month check up she weighed in at 22 lbs 11 oz and 30 in long! Everything looks good.....

Wii had a fun weekend!

Friday night we went over to Lee and Kate's house for supper. We brought the Wii with, which is always exciting. It gets to be pretty funny watching people play it, but I probably laugh the most at myself. On Saturday, Mike, Joey, and Mitchell and Perry, Carrie, Colby and Chase came over for pizza. We planned our trip to Wisconsin Dells and played the Wii. I guess the kids also played together not just the parents.

I guess this is what I would call a bad hair day!

I am finally done with school!! I completed my last clinical on thursday. I still have to take boards so I guess I must continue to study, but what a good feeling it is to be done with the school part of it.

Uncle Duncan and Aunt Jen gave Josslyn a sled for Christmas. Yesterday was our first chance to use it. J enyoyed her ride around on it, but she wasnt so sure of the dogs who also wanted to ride in the sled!

Happy 1st Birthday Josslyn

Yesterday we celebrated Josslyn's 1st birthday. I can not believe that she is already a year old. Wow, how time flies! We had a party with family and friends. If you thought we had a lot of toys before, we now have more.

I think back to a year ago today, we were in the hospital and today was the first day we really got to hold her, as she was in the level two nursery. She got to finally eat for her first time that day, too. I remember thinking how lucky we were with all the happened that she was okay and was thriving so well. If we were not in the nursery with her we were watching her on the TV in our hospital room. And then I look at her today and see that curly haired smiling baby, I guess she is a toddler now, but she will always be my baby!

As of one year old Josslyn is:

Pulling herself up to her knees

Talking: Momma, Dada, Bopa, Bubye

Crawling usually only after money on the floor otherwise she resorts to rolling

Dancing, pretty sure she got Brady's dancing skills!

She is into everything and I hear this is only the start of it!

August sure has gone by fast. We took a trip to the Zoo, went to the county fair and Josslyn had her very first sleep over with out us. J is now 10 months old. Not crawling yet but working on pulling herself up on stuff. She also has started to talk. She says Mama, Dada, Bopa (grandpa) and bubye. We will have a busy week ahead of us. Uncle Duncan and Aunt Jen get married this weekend. We are all part of the wedding. We found this old Larry Holst Construction hat and Josslyn liked havingh it on so we took a pic for Larry and Sue.

Josslyn is now nine months old, she is growing so fast. She loves to be outside. She is rolling everywhere shouldnt be long and she will be crawling. We are trying to be the tough parents and let her cry it out at night in hopes she may start sleeping through the night. I have been caving after about a half an hour of crying. We took some pics yesterday, here they are........

Wow! Time flies when you are having fun. Josslyn will be 7 months old this weekend. She loves being outside, watching the dogs run around. She is rolling over, but is much more interested in sitting up and is doing quite well at it. She loves going to daycare to see her friends, you tell her in the morning that we are going to Jessica's and she smiles. Still a pretty serious child but I know her goofy side will shine through soon. Still being a little stinker and waking up at least three times a night.
I have accepted a new position at Mayo, I will be working in Dialysis starting at the end of June. I will be working 12 hour shifts so I will only work 5 days in two weeks. This will allow me to be home more with J and save some money on gas as I see it is up to $3.85 today. I will definently miss all the great people I work with now but I will just be downstairs.
Brady is back to work and happy about it, i think he was getting a little bored at home. He has been turkey hunting this past week and will hunt through the weekend, hopefully he will get one. I heard he has been taking naps out in the woods, not sure how he is suppose to shoot anything if he is sleeping???? Hope every one has a wonderful Memorial day weekend.........

Sippy Cup?!?!

We gave Josslyn a sippy cup for the first time last night and she took it and started drinking. I didnt thik it would be so easy. She started to roll over two sundays ago. She now goes from back to front and front to back. She only goes front to back at daycare so we have not seen that yet. For mothers day we got her a little "Swing set" she likes to swing on it. We put it together in the house so now we will have to take part of it apart to get it outside. Not quite sure what we were thinking there.... She still has her head cold so she still is getting up at least 2 times a night. Hopefully it will get better soon. The picture in the pink coat and the swing set are from this last weekend. She looks a little tired in the swing... The other pic is from Mitch Peters wedding we had a blast!

WOW! How time flies! I have not posted in quite a while. Josslyn is now six months old. Everyone always said that it goes so fast but who would have thought this fast! She is a very happy baby. She is working hard at being able to sit up. Not really interested in rolling over anymore. We had her in for 6 month shots last week and she weighed in at 15 lbs 2 oz. and just under 26 inches long. It is just amazing to just watch her and see all the new things she is learning everyday. She loves to suck on her tows. She is eating food like a little monster she has loved everything that we have tried no complaints or even bad faces. Her and I are currently battling a cold so neither of us are getting much sleep. Brady is getting plenty as he is sleeping on the couch! This weekend we have Mitch and Tessica's wedding. Brady is a groomsman should be a pretty good time. Hopefully J is good for Aunt Karna and Uncle Nick. We took a trip to Cabelas this weekend and found this very cute hat for J. She loves to wear it. She is truly a Daddy's girl! Rice Cereal

We decided to give cereal a try last night. It was J's 5 month birthday so we thought we could feed her. It went really well, I was kinda surprised. She is a hungy little monster. I thought she would just spit it out but she did the opposite. She was a monster she couldnt get enough of it. I only mixed up a very small amount so the fun didnt last long. We will see how tonight goes. I will try and post the video that we shot of it if I can figure out how to do it. They are currently siding our house and garage it is looking very nice. Enjoy your day!

Happy Easter. Hope evreyone has a wonderful day! We have had a busy week. Brady and friends got the garage built since last weekend. Just waiting for the rest of the house to be sided and then they will also do the garage. We have a muddy mess at our house just like last time. However the new snow has covered it for now. Josslyn's tooth has popped through today, she is doing well with it not really crabby at all. She is also working on rolling over she is so close but just cant get that shoulder out of the way. Sorry it has been a while since I posted last. Josslyn's appt went well she is 13 lbs 11oz and just under 25 inches. The perfect size for our little peanut. I think she may be getting her first tooth. She has been a little stinker lately, even cries when her grandparents hold her. She only wants her mom and dad, can you blame her?? She is still sleeping well in her crib. Next move will be up to her own bedroom, upstairs. Brady says she is getting close to rolling over, I have not seen this yet but he is the one that spends everyday with her so I guess he should know. She still is not just giving her smiles away as you can see in the picture. Hoping it continues to warm up, I am ready for the muddy lawn we are going to have, I just want warm weather. Until next time..... when I will more then likely be complaining about the muddy lawn, take care.

Happy one year Anniversary to Brady, love ya! I cant beleive that we have been married for a year already. So much has changed in the last year. Married, Baby and New house. Cant say it has been cheap, but couldnt have been more blessed. Josslyn gets her four month shots today, hopefully she does well like the last time. Brady and I will just spend the night home with her. We had a pretty low key weekend. Brady is finally getting over his illness, you new he was sick when he actually went to the doctor. On saturday we went to Cabelas and then out to eat at Famous daves. Tried to show Josslyn all the animals there but she wasnt all that interested, maybe next time. Sunday Brady helped Larry with a couple of things and we just hung out. Josslyn is finally in her crib as of this weekend. She was still sleeping in the bassinet, which she was starting to outgrow at a fast pace. I think she even sleeps a bit better in the crib as she has been sleeping in till 7 am. Hopefully she continues to do well.

Busy weekend

We had a very busy weekend. On friday we had Kate and Derek Weckerlings wedding. Which was alot of fun. Josslyn had fun at home with G+G Lohmann. Sounds like she didnt like to hang out with grandpa too much. On saturday J and I ran to rochester to do a little shopping, she was disappointed that I didnt get her anything at the mall so we made a quick stop at target, she got the cutest sun glasses and a new pair of shoes. Saturday afternoon I headed down to Mazeppa to meet up with Brady at the Bubba walk. Had lots of fun catching up with everyone. We bought J a tractor. We tried to win it in the drawing but we didnt. So I offered the guy who won it $100 and he said it was mine. Thanks to Darwyn for putting in a good word for us. Sunday was a lazy day. We all took a much needed nap. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I thought I had better write something soon or everyone will get bored with us. Josslyn is almost four months old and growing like a weed. How time flies. Her very own personality is starting to show through. Sometimes she is way to serious of a child, I tell her she is not going to fit in at our house. She has a new thing that when people try to get her to smile she will turn her head and completely ignores them. Didn't do anything to exciting this weekend went out to eat with some friends on Saturday night and Sunday went to church and hung out at home. We have a busy week ahead of us, I am in a wedding on Friday and then we have the Bubba Walk on Saturday. I will try and post some more pictures soon. Have a great day!
